What is my Password for the Control Panel?

Our Billing system and Control Panel automatically sync with one another, so when you register your account with NitroWeb your login is automatically available using the same details (Client Area email and password).

Any password resets or account changes are also synchronised.

Do you offer Free Trials?

Yes, we do. We offer a 1-month free trial for our Linux Starter Web Hosting, and you're encouraged to try before you buy. If you have any questions, please contact us.

How long will it take to set up my hosting package?

Your hosting package is automatically set up for you straight after purchase so you can get started right away.

If you do not receive any information after 20 minutes, please contact support by opening a ticket in your client area, we will respond ASAP and get your server online.

What’s your data centre like and where is it based?

Our state-of-the-art data centre offers the latest in security and environmental technologies and is manned 24/7, ensuring your data and websites are secure and monitored at all times. We have a resilient national network and enterprise level cloud platform so you get the best possible hosting experience.

What's your Backup Process?

We utilise a Timline-Backup system that takes automatic Daily snapshots of your websites, databases and email accounts.

These are then kept for 30-days to allow seemless restores of old data, or accidental deletions.

Can I upgrade/downgrade at anytime?

Yes, you can upgrade and downgrade your server or web hosting at any time, even on monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annually.

What kind of support do you offer?

We have a range of guides and tutorials available for you via our support database. We also provide personal support just for you via your control panel. All our support is UK based and we never outsource it, meaning you’re always speaking to someone who understands our services and platforms inside out.

Which programming languages and frameworks can I use?

You can use whichever programming languages and frameworks you like. Please get in touch if you want to double check if specific legacy versions are supported.

Should I pick Windows or Linux?

You can choose to host your website on either our Windows or Linux platform. If you’re not sure which to pick, go for Linux as it’s industry standard and supports a wider range of languages and software. If you need help deciding which package to go for or more details, please get in touch with our friendly team.

I ordered my service and I haven't received any emails.

If you can't see any emails with your service details in, please firstly check your junk mail, if its not in there, submit a ticket and let us know so we can re-send them again.

What happens if I don't pay on time?

Your service will be suspended 14-days after your payment is missed, it will then remain suspended for 7 days to give you time to pay for it. After 7 days the service will be terminated, along with any data.

How do I connect to my web hosting FTP?

You can get all the details needed for connecting to your Websites FTP (File Server) from the Control Panel

Look for: Configuration > SFTP Settings in the control panel Menu

You will need a client such as WinSCP for connecting to the websites storage.

What location do I choose for my server? Why does it matter?

When selecting the Server Location at checkout, make sure you select the closest available location to where you live.

This is because the further away you are, the greater the latency (ping/lag) there will be to the server, which won't make for a great experience.
